Meet Founder, Kendall Cameron
Kendall is a recognized expert in school leadership transition. She co-authored a chapter on the head of school transition committee in the National Association of Independent Schools’ (NAIS) 2018 Head Search Handbook and has led multiple head of school transitions as both a trustee and as a school administrator. Currently, Kendall serves as board president for West Nottingham Academy, a boarding and day school in northern Maryland. She holds a B.S., magna cum laude, in Sociology and Anthropology from Denison University in Granville, Ohio, and an M.S. in Educational Leadership from Pepperdine University in Los Angeles, California. As a member of the board of several non profit organizations, including the YWCA of Los Angeles and Equality Forum in Philadelphia, Kendall has broad governance experience. Further, she has 30 years of teaching, mentoring and administrative experience in independent schools, including Episcopal High School in Baton Rouge, Brentwood School in Los Angeles, and Friends Select School in Philadelphia. Kendall has taught middle school and upper school, and has served in a number of administrative roles including dean of students, division director, and assistant head of school.
